In a remote, snowy village of Jōshū (present-day Gunma Prefecture), a young girl named Shino is sold off due to her family's poverty. Just as her fate seems sealed, she’s rescued by a mysterious man claiming to be an onmyōji, Takenouchi, who takes her under his protection. However, this savior has a dark plan—he secretly administers poison to Shino in order to turn her into bait for a man-eating tengu! Abandoned deep in the mountains, despair consumes her… until a tengu with pure white wings, calling himself Sakyō, appears. But instead of attacking—he reaches out to her? A suspenseful fantasy of sacrifice, folklore, and forbidden bonds begins!
