Rikka Sanada, a university student in Tokyo’s Faculty of Science and Engineering, spent her days buried in experiments. But during one of her practicums, a sudden explosion flings her into the unknown. When she awakens, she finds herself deep in an unfamiliar mountain—and standing before her is a handsome man named Seiun, who claims to be in charge of the imperial harem of the Shōrin Kingdom. Confused, Rikka is told that she is a “fallen one”—someone who has crossed over from modern Japan into this world. Forced to survive in these strange lands, she decides to put her scientific skills to use, solving the string of bizarre incidents plaguing the harem… all while searching for a way home.
