あらすじ
Because of his love for dogs and cats, Sora Utagawa applies for a part-time job as a driver and assistant at a veterinary clinic. But what awaits him isn’t a small animal hospital — it’s Dr. Tasuku Mikai, a large-animal veterinarian who treats livestock such as cows and horses. One day, during a farm visit, Mikai tells a struggling farmer, “There’s nothing more we can do for this cow.” Shocked by what seems like a cold response, Sora soon learns there’s a deeper compassion behind Mikai’s words — a sincere resolve to support the people who sustain everyday life. Milk, meat, eggs... the unseen work that keeps food on our tables. Across the great northern plains, Mikai drives on — a moving drama of livestock veterinary medicine!
